CALL FOR ARTISTS: 2013-2020 exhibition series at Galerie am Brüsseler Platz
Galerie am Brüsseler Platz invites artists to submit artwork for consideration to be included
in the 2013-2020 exhibition schedules. We encourage participants from a range of media including
visual arts: sculpture, painting, photography, printmaking and site specific installations.
Review Process:
Submissions will be reviewed periodically.
Artists must comply with the following ( 4 ) guidelines:
Incomplete submissions will be rejected.
1: SUBMISSION
All submissions are to be made via postal mail, which is preferred, or email;
we do not accept walk-in submissions. Please allow 6-8 weeks before calling or
emailing to follow up on your submission.
2: RECENT WORK
All artworks must be no more than 2 years old.
Images are accepted in pdf, jpg, and gif formats.
If your artwork didn’t scan or photograph well, then scan it again, please.
Send 10-15 images of your work on a CD —
IMPORTANT please include titles, media, dimensions and prices.
— If you submit electronically, the final email should be no more than 2 MBtotal size.
DO NOT SEND MORE THAN ONE EMAIL.
If your images are too large to send in a single email, burn the images to a cd and
send via postal mail.
3: CONTACT INFO
Include contact information, website link, biographical data, any exhibition
history, artist statement, reviews and any other support material, within
reason.
4: Return Policy
Any hard copy or physical materials sent to the gallery will not be returned
unless a self addressed, postage paid envelope or packaging is included with
your submission.
General response time is 6 weeks. If we wish to further consider your work, we will contact you directly.

Q. What kinds of artwork are you currently interested in seeing?
A. Our Art Review Board is always looking for talent with fresh, new ideas and concepts.
Q. What are the acceptable formats for submitting a portfolio for review?
A. Images burned to a CD-ROM or printed reproductions are preferred.
Please do not send originals. If you would like to have your submission
materials returned, kindly include the appropriately sized self-addressed
envelope with your submission, including sufficient postage. Any material
submission sent without a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage
will not be returned to you.
For your convenience, you may also show us your work by submitting it online.
Simply follow the image guidelines below, and our Art Review Board will take a
look at your work.

Q. If my work is selected to be exhibited, does the gallery cover all of my costs?
A. This question and more are answered in detail within the gallery contract. Successful applicants
will be given full disclosure of gallery proceedings.
